The Opportunity

As a Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics - Software Engineering Associate, you will engage in innovative software development projects, contributing to the creation and maintenance of cutting-edge applications and frameworks. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients, learning how to build meaningful connections and manage projects effectively. In this role, you will participate in project tasks, develop basic skills, and respond effectively to diverse perspectives and needs.

In this role at PwC, you will be part of a dynamic team where you will have the opportunity to work on projects that leverage various technologies. Responsibilities

- Developing software applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, and C#.NET
- Implementing object-oriented design principles to create scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Participating in code reviews to uphold coding standards and improve software quality
- Debugging and troubleshooting software issues to ensure smooth application functionality
- Collaborating with team members to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Utilizing software development methodologies to manage project timelines and deliverables
- Designing user interfaces with SwiftUI and Flutter for cross-platform applications
- Engaging in quality assurance testing to validate software performance and reliability
- Supporting enterprise application architecture to align software solutions with business goals
- Applying microservices architecture to enhance application flexibility and scalability
- Contributing to business process improvement initiatives through software solutions
- Assisting in the development of solution architecture to meet specific business needs

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service associate positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are completing or have recently completed their final academic year of educational requirements

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for one of the following fields of study: Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer and Information Science, Computer Management, Information CyberSecurity, or Software Engineering
- Preference for a 3.3 overall GPA
- Developing skills in application development and frameworks
- Excelling in business requirements analysis and process improvement
- Utilizing programming languages like Java, Python, and C++
- Engaging in software testing and quality assurance practices
- Contributing to microservices architecture and solution design

The salary range for this position is: $61,000 - $100,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
