They work to identify vulnerabilities, develop secure systems, and provide proactive solutions to safeguard sensitive data. Those in penetration testing at PwC will focus on penetration testing (or pen testing) which is a security exercise where a cybersecurity consultant attempts to find and exploit vulnerabilities in a computer system. The purpose of this simulated attack is to identify any weak spots in a system's defences which attackers could take advantage of.

The Opportunity

As part of the Cybersecurity team you can conduct advanced penetration testing to enhance client security postures. As a Senior Associate you can analyze complex security challenges, mentor junior team members, and build meaningful client relationships while navigating the intricacies of cybersecurity. This role offers the chance to deepen your technical knowledge and grow your personal brand in a dynamic and evolving field.

What You Must Have

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years of experience

What Sets You Apart

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information CyberSecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, Management Information Systems preferred
  • Certification(s) preferred: Offensive Security Web Assessor (OSWA), Offensive Security Certified Professional+ (OSCP+), Certified Certified Team Professional (CRTP), Burp Suite Certified Practitioner
  • Demonstrating proficiency in penetration testing techniques
  • Understanding application security and network segregation
  • Understanding security testing tools, such as BurpSuite, Mimikatz, Cobalt Strike, PowerSploit, Metasploit, Nessus, HP Web Inspect
  • Identifying critical security vulnerabilities effectively
  • Multitasking across various client engagement workstreams
  • Understanding common programming and scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell, Ruby, Perl, Bash, JavaScript, or VBScript

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
