In privacy law and data protection at PwC, you will specialise in providing advice and guidance to clients on privacy laws and data protection regulations. You will help businesses navigate the complex landscape of privacy and data protection requirements, confirming compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Working in this area, you will assist in developing privacy policies, conducting privacy impact assessments, and implementing data protection measures to safeguard personal information.

Focused on relationships, you are building meaningful client connections, and learning how to manage and inspire others. Navigating increasingly complex situations, you are growing your personal brand, deepening technical expertise and awareness of your strengths. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and to deliver quality. Embracing increased ambiguity, you are comfortable when the path forward isn’t clear, you ask questions, and you use these moments as opportunities to grow.

The Opportunity
As part of the Data Protection team you define and assess data protection strategy, architecture, and practices. As a Senior Associate you analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain rigorous standards. You focus on building client relationships, developing a deeper understanding of the business context, and navigating increasingly complex situations to grow your personal brand and technical knowledge.

What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4 years of experience

What Sets You Apart
- Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
- Knowledge of Data Protection capabilities
- Experience with Data Protection tools
- Familiarity with NIST, HIPAA, COBIT, GDPR, CCPA
- Ability to develop Data Protection strategy
- Experience with business development
- Exceptional documentation and presentation skills

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
