In quality engineering at PwC, you will focus on implementing leading practice standards of quality in software development and testing processes. In this field, you will use your experience to identify and resolve defects, optimise performance, and enhance user experience.

You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team member’s unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. You embrace technology and innovation to enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same.

  • Analyse and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system.

  • Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards (e.g. refer to specific PwC tax and audit guidance), the Firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements.


As part of the Quality Engineering team you are to advocate and uphold the standards, industry-leading practices and protocols outlined in the quality assurance and testing framework. As a Manager you are to lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for securing project success and maintaining exceptional standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team member’s unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. Responsibilities

- Lead teams and manage client accounts with strategic planning
- Mentor and develop junior staff to enhance their skills

What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree or in lieu of a degree, demonstrating three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college

What Sets You Apart
- ISTQB, CSQA/CSQE or equivalent certifications
- Advocating and upholding quality assurance standards
- Participating in reviews of user stories
- Working closely with Product Managers and Solution Architects
- Authoring Agile test plans and requirements traceability
- Displaying proficiency in tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps
- Offering UAT support and maintaining QA environments
- Conducting regular reviews of quality assurance metrics
- Collaborating with DevOps engineering team


The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
