The Opportunity

As an Actuarial Risk Modeling Services Intern, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will support teams in delivering actuarial services and risk management solutions. You will have the chance to apply your analytical skills to financial data mining, risk model implementation, and strategic forecasting, contributing to the development of innovative solutions for our clients. As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices, supporting teams with basic tasks, and participating in projects that enhance your understanding of actuarial science and risk analysis. Responsibilities

- Supporting actuarial teams in risk modeling projects and gaining exposure to industry practices
- Participating in the development and implementation of risk prediction models using statistical analysis software

- Assisting in financial risk management tasks by analyzing market and operational risks
- Engaging in financial data mining to uncover insights and opportunities within financial markets

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in at least one of the following field(s) of study: Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements and demonstrate a commitment to undertaking and passing actuarial exams
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application Winter internships typically occur during the spring semester preceding the student's final year of school Summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student's final year of school

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
