In product strategy at PwC, you will focus on the overall evolution of the portfolio of products, from management of the innovation funnel intaking new ideas, building the business case and design of our new products, to continually evaluating and supporting our existing product portfolios. You will build out ideas into a vision and business plan for monetization, helping guide leadership towards investment decisions. You will also drive competitive analysis and market intelligence activities to offer insights that translate into strategic product direction and product positioning. Working in this area, you will validate the line of sight to generating revenue through assessing TAM, supporting the design and execution of GTM efforts. Your responsibilities include facilitating these action plans for moving forward into build and towards commercialization.

The Opportunity
As an Advisory National - Product Strategy Associate, you will engage in the dynamic world of software and product innovation, focusing on developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive product success. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance their competitive edge. Your role will involve conducting competitive analysis, developing business cases, and crafting product strategies that align with market demands.
As an Associate, you will be immersed in a learning environment where adaptability and teamwork are key. You will contribute to client engagements, building your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. Responsibilities
- Developing product strategies that align with organizational goals and market demands
- Conducting competitive analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses of rival products
- Collaborating with teams to create and implement product roadmaps and lifecycle management plans
- Utilizing agile methodology to enhance product development processes and improve efficiency
- Engaging in business case development to support strategic decision-making and project selection
- Analyzing customer needs to inform product ideation and specification
- Supporting commercialization efforts by contributing to product positioning and marketing strategies
- Participating in strategic planning sessions to drive profitable growth and market penetration
- Assisting in the operationalization of product strategies to achieve business objectives
- Contributing to the creation of user guides and documentation to support product adoption and customer satisfaction
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service associate positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are completing or have recently completed their final academic year of educational requirements
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for one of the following field(s) of study: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Computer and Information Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Computer Systems Analysis, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Statistics
- Preference for a 3.3 overall GPA
- Demonstrating proficiency in Agile Methodology and Business Process Modeling
- Conducting Competitive Analysis and Customer Needs Analysis
- Developing Business Case and Pricing Strategy
- Excelling in Market Research and Market Trends analysis
- Utilizing Software Product Management and Product Strategy skills

The salary range for this position is: $61,000 - $100,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
