The Opportunity

As a Tax Innovation User Experience intern, you will engage in the dynamic world of user experience design within our Tax practice. You will have the chance to immerse yourself in the process of gathering data and insights from end-users to create impactful and enjoyable user experiences. This role will allow you to explore various methodologies such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing, all aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and experience.

As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects and performing basic tasks, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will observe professional work environments and contribute to the team's success by applying a learning mindset and taking ownership of your development. This role emphasizes the importance of both observational and participatory roles, allowing you to appreciate diverse perspectives and develop your potential.

In this role, you will delve into the world of user experience design, focusing on creating and shaping user experiences across various touchpoints. You will have the opportunity to work with emerging technologies and industry trend analysis, contributing to the development of customer-centric strategies that align with business objectives. Responsibilities

- Supporting teams in the development and implementation of user experience design projects

- Participating in user research activities, including interviews and surveys, to gather insights for design improvements

- Assisting in the creation of user personas and journey maps to enhance customer experience strategies

- Engaging in usability testing to identify areas for improvement and optimize design solutions

- Collaborating with team members to apply human-centered design principles in project development

- Contributing to the design and prototyping of user interfaces to demonstrate product functionality

- Analyzing industry trends to inform design decisions and align with emerging technologies

- Applying creative design skills to develop visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces

- Gathering and interpreting user feedback to refine design concepts and improve usability

- Observing and learning from experienced professionals to gain exposure to best practices in user experience design

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree

- Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

- Winter internships typically occur during the spring semester preceding the student's final year of school, Summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student's final year of school

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Design, Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, Visual Communication, Digital Communications and Media/Multimedia, Computer Engineering, Computer and Information Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology

- Preference for a 3.3 overall GPA

- Demonstrating skills in User Experience (UX) Design Research

- Engaging in creative design and user interface prototyping

- Applying industry trend analysis to enhance design strategies

- Conducting usability testing to improve user satisfaction

- Utilizing human-centered design principles for innovative solutions

- Participating in customer experience strategy development


The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
