The Opportunity

As a Deals - Financial Due Diligence (FDD) Intern, you will engage in the dynamic world of financial analysis, supporting our teams in delivering insightful due diligence services. This role offers a unique chance to delve into the financial intricacies of mergers and acquisitions, providing critical input for valuation and transaction agreements. As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices, supporting teams with basic tasks, and participating in projects that contribute to the team's success. Responsibilities

- Supporting financial due diligence projects by assisting in the analysis of financial statements and identifying key trends
- Participating in the evaluation of mergers and acquisitions by conducting market trend analysis and financial modeling
- Assisting in the preparation of business valuations and cost accounting reports to aid in deal management
- Collaborating with team members to gather and analyze data for financial forecasting and planning
- Observing and learning from experienced professionals in the field of financial advising and investment analysis
- Contributing to the development of merger accounting strategies by researching industry trends and financial metrics
- Engaging in the review of financial documents to understand earnings quality and working capital management
- Applying a learning mindset to gain exposure to PwC practices and methodologies in financial due diligence

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application. Winter internships typically occur during the spring semester preceding the student's final year of school Summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student's final year of school

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
