The Opportunity
As a Tax Financial Markets & Real Estate (FMRE) Associate, you will engage in dynamic finance consulting projects, providing valuable insights and support to clients in the financial markets and real estate sectors. Your role will involve analyzing financial trends, preparing financial statements, and advising on compliance with accounting standards, all while contributing to the strategic financial management of client portfolios. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients, learning how to build meaningful connections and manage complex situations, while growing your personal brand and deepening your technical expertise.

Responsibilities
- Supporting client engagement by contributing to financial markets and real estate projects
- Developing skills in financial accounting and financial statement preparation
- Analyzing financial trends and market conditions to provide insights for client strategies
- Complying with financial regulations and accounting standards to maintain integrity in reporting
- Engaging in financial risk management to protect client economic value
- Participating in economic forecasting to anticipate market shifts and inform decision-making
- Utilizing financial modeling techniques to represent and evaluate investment opportunities
- Preparing financial statements and conducting financial statement analysis for client evaluations
- Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to identify opportunities for portfolio optimization
- Collaborating with team members to deliver quality client support and solutions
- Applying intellectual curiosity to enhance understanding of financial markets and client needs
- Communicating effectively with diverse audiences to convey financial insights and recommendations
- Adapting to fast-paced environments and embracing learning opportunities for personal growth

What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in at least one of the following field(s) of study: Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Quantitative Finance, or Real Estate
- Client service associate positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are completing or have recently completed their final academic year of educational requirements.
What Sets You Apart
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment
- Preference for a 3.3 overall GPA
- Demonstrating skills in financial modeling and analysis

The salary range for this position is: $53,500 - $142,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
