The Opportunity
As a Financial Crimes Unit Data & Analytics Tech Intern, you will engage in the dynamic world of data and analytics, supporting our teams in delivering insightful solutions to complex business challenges. This role offers a unique chance to work with cutting-edge tools enhancing your skills in data visualization and business intelligence. As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices, supporting teams with basic tasks, and participating in projects that contribute to the team's success. Responsibilities
- Supporting data and analytics teams in the development of business intelligence solutions
- Assisting in the creation and enhancement of interactive data visualization and reporting tools using platforms
- Participating in the design and management of data architecture and database management systems to ensure data integrity and reliability
- Engaging in industry trend analysis to identify key business insights and opportunities for market development
- Conducting data analysis and interpretation to provide actionable recommendations for business improvement
- Collaborating with team members to implement continuous process improvement initiatives
- Applying programming skills in Java and Python to develop and optimize data pipelines
- Gaining exposure to PwC practices and methodologies through active participation in projects
- Learning and applying professional and technical standards in data science and business intelligence
- Observing and contributing to stakeholder engagement processes to support decision-making and project success
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application. Winter internships typically occur during the spring semester preceding the student's final year of school Summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student's final year of school
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for one of the following field(s) of study: Computer and Information Science, Computer and Information Science & Accounting, Economics, Economics and Finance, Economics and Finance & Technology, Engineering, Operations Management/Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Processing/Analytics/Science
- Preference for a 3.3 overall GPA
- Demonstrating proficiency in Python and Java programming languages
- Utilizing data visualization tools
- Engaging in continuous process improvement initiatives
- Developing skills in business data analytics and interpretation
- Supporting client projects with database management systems
- Participating in industry trend analysis and market development activities

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
