The Opportunity
As a Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) Associate, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will support teams in delivering digital assurance services, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's methodologies. In this role, you will be part of the Digital Assurance team, working alongside professionals who are committed to excellence in operational risk management, compliance auditing, and IT controls. You will have the opportunity to apply a learning mindset, take ownership of your development, and appreciate diverse perspectives. By actively listening and asking questions, you will gather information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns.

Responsibilities
- Conducting audits using established methodologies to assess compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal controls
- Collaborating with teams to evaluate and enhance data quality through validation and assurance testing
- Applying cybersecurity governance frameworks to manage and mitigate risks effectively
- Utilizing cloud engineering principles to design and implement scalable solutions for digital assurance
- Engaging in process reviews to identify areas for improvement and align workflows with organizational objectives
- Supporting the development and implementation of IT governance and controls to safeguard information assets
- Participating in the assessment of operational risk management strategies to enhance decision-making processes
- Analyzing data quality assessments to provide insights and recommendations for process optimization
- Assisting in the application of artificial intelligence platforms to streamline auditing processes and improve efficiency
- Contributing to the development of governance frameworks to promote responsible corporate governance practices
- Collaborating with stakeholders to address compliance and governance challenges within the assurance sector
- Engaging in active listening and communication to foster teamwork and support client engagement initiatives
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, or Information Technology
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Client service associate positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are completing or have recently completed their final academic year of educational requirements.

The salary range for this position is: $53,500 - $104,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
