Our Information Governance team focuses on helping our clients protect their business in today’s evolving landscape by applying advanced and strategic approaches to information management. We focus on assisting organisations manage vast amounts of electronic data and navigate the legal and business processes demanded by critical events, which includes litigation, regulatory requests and internal investigations. Our team helps our clients understand their current capabilities and assist in the implementation of governance controls to effectively mitigate information risk and maximise exploitation of their information assets.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success managing projects with the following:
- Defining and assessing of Data Governance strategy, architecture and practices, and technology implementation;
- Possessing command of governance models to support data governance efforts in an enterprise setting, including organizing data governance across a 3-line of defense model;
- Demonstrating experience leading Data Governance projects to define strategy and roadmap, operating model, policies/standards, and tool design and process documents;
- Possessing knowledge and experience with at least one major data governance enterprise platform (e.g., Collibra, Alation, or Informatica);
- Possessing knowledge and experience with data analysis and enterprise metadata management, especially in the context of Privacy and Data Lifecycle use cases;
- Having experience deploying data lineage and data flow inventory solutions;
- Demonstrating experience implementing structured data archiving and data lifecycle management activities;
- Having a background in DCAM or related data governance frameworks;
- Managing teams implementing Data Governance tools with a complex business environment, through requirements gathering, building, testing, and production roll-out;
- Demonstrating experience leading Data Governance projects to define strategy and roadmap, operating model, policies/standards, and tool design and process documents;
- Identifying and addressing client needs: building solid relationships with clients; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and resolving potential conflicts as a leader;
- Managing a team and/or work stream on engagement(s), development of staff, business development, and communications with executives;
- Leading project planning, engagement administration, budget management, and the successful completion of engagement work streams;
- Managing business development opportunities and/or engagements from pre-sale and initial scoping through final delivery and sign-off;
- Collaborating with business development teams responsible for writing and presenting proposals to prospective clients; and,
- Demonstrating negotiation, documentation and presentation skills.
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following:
- Understanding of data privacy, data protection and regulatory aspects of data governance, such as creating and implementing a data rights framework, including contractual requirements, controls set, etc.;
- Understanding of data privacy and data protection including applicable regulations and the handling of sensitive information;
- Understanding of information governance and data lifecycle management, including retention management;
- Understanding of privacy, protection and information governance data discovery tools (e.g., BigID, OneTrust, Microsoft etc);
- Possessing knowledge and experience with overall data architecture, profiling, quality, metadata management etc.; and,
- Leading evaluation of new solutions and services, providing a business case on whether the firm should develop skills and vendor relations within new Data Governance solutions and technologies.
Data modeling in SQL Server and Oracle environment;
- Writing SQL queries across various RDBMS platforms (SQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Redshift, Oracle 11g, Azure);
- Designing conceptual, logical and physical data architecture including end-to-end implementation;
- Utilizing hands on experience in Data Warehousing, specializing in ETL optimizations and industry leading practices using Informatica Power Center;
- Possessing the ability to code using HTML, JavaScript, Python, CSS, XML, Linux; and;
- Knowing how to load data into data model;

The salary range for this position is: $100,000 - $232,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
