The Opportunity
As a Manager in Tax Services, you will provide specialized tax advice and solutions to clients in complex areas such as accounting methods, fixed-assets, and research and development tax credits. Within our Tax practice, you will help businesses navigate intricate tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards, motivating and inspiring others to deliver quality. You will leverage team strengths and manage performance to meet client expectations, while identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our firm.
In this role, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will develop skills outside your comfort zone and encourage others to do the same, using the review of work as an opportunity to deepen the skills of team members. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. Embracing technology and innovation, you will enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same, reinforcing professional and technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Providing specialized tax advice and solutions in complex areas such as accounting methods and research and development tax credits
- Navigating intricate tax regulations to optimize client tax positions and strategies
- Leading and mentoring teams to deliver quality client service and meet expectations
- Analyzing and identifying interactions within tax systems to enhance client outcomes
- Taking ownership of project planning, budgeting, execution, and completion
- Encouraging team development by leveraging individual strengths and fostering skill growth
- Engaging in strategic questioning to identify opportunities for tax restructuring and incentives
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to the firm's code of conduct
- Addressing conflicts and facilitating difficult conversations with clients and stakeholders
- Embracing technology and innovation to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience

- Demonstrating proficiency in Domestic Restructuring (Taxes)
- Utilizing skills in Income Tax Provisions and Tax Restructuring
- Excelling in Research and Development (R&D) Tax Credits

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $266,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
