The Opportunity

As a SHL Test Evergreen, you will engage with clients directly, providing advice and guidance on tax planning, compliance, and strategy within our Tax practice. You will help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions, contributing to their success and growth. As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments, developing your personal brand, and paving the way for future opportunities.

Responsibilities

- Supporting tax compliance and planning activities for clients under the guidance of senior team members
- Participating in the preparation and review of tax documents and returns to assist clients in meeting regulatory requirements
- Conducting research on tax regulations and trends to provide insights for client engagements
- Assisting in the drafting of tax documents and reports to facilitate client understanding and decision-making
- Engaging in financial statement analysis to identify potential tax implications and opportunities
- Collaborating with team members to monitor and analyze financial trends impacting client tax positions
- Applying accounting practices and tax auditing techniques to support client projects
- Developing a learning mindset to enhance personal and professional growth within the tax services field
- Gathering information from diverse sources to analyze facts and discern patterns relevant to client needs
- Upholding professional and technical standards in line with PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment (Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity)
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application. Winter internships typically occur during the spring semester preceding the student's final year of school. Summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student's final year of school.

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
