The Opportunity

As a Corporate Tax Senior Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. Within our Tax practice, you will help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. You will review and analyze financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance.

As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work. Embracing increased ambiguity, you will be comfortable when the path forward isn’t clear, using these moments as opportunities to grow.

In this role, you will leverage a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems. You will develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing, using critical thinking to break down complex concepts and interpret data to inform insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

- Analyzing financial data to prepare and file accurate tax returns
- Reviewing and validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Assisting businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance
- Utilizing corporate tax planning skills to optimize clients' tax positions
- Drafting and preparing tax documents for regulatory submissions
- Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to inform tax strategies
- Conducting tax research to provide informed recommendations to clients
- Collaborating with teams to manage and inspire others in complex situations
- Upholding professional and technical standards in line with PwC's code of conduct
- Developing meaningful client connections and anticipating their needs
- Navigating ambiguity to deliver quality work and grow personal skills
- Interpreting data to generate insights and support decision-making processes

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment (Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity).

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $214,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
