The Opportunity

As a Senior Associate in Tax Services, you will focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. You will help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, grow your personal brand, and deepen your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and to deliver quality work. Embracing increased ambiguity, you will be comfortable when the path forward isn’t clear, using these moments as opportunities to grow.

In this role, you will validate clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations, review and analyze financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance. Within our Tax practice, you will use a broad range of tools, methodologies, and techniques to generate new ideas and solve problems. You will develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing, while upholding and reinforcing professional and technical standards.

Responsibilities

- Analyzing financial data to prepare and file accurate tax returns
- Reviewing and validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Assisting businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance
- Navigating complex tax regulations to optimize clients' tax positions
- Utilizing analytical thinking to break down complex tax concepts and provide insights
- Drafting and preparing tax documents for corporate tax planning and compliance
- Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to inform tax strategies and recommendations
- Upholding professional and technical standards in line with PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements
- Building meaningful client connections and managing client expectations effectively
- Mentoring junior team members to enhance their understanding of tax compliance and strategy

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment (Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity).

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $214,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
